Traitor in Charge

Bobby Jindal has just won my state's gubernatorial race (I'm in Louisiana for those of you who don't know or who don't know Bobby Jindal). I must say, I'm not surprised by this outcome, but I am disappointed. Bobby Jindal is a staunchly conservative republican, which is an unusual thing for a Louisiana governor to be, but he's more than just a conservative jackass. He's a traitor.

The son of Indian immigrants, Jindal is a convert to Catholicism. His own people's Gods and his ancestors have been cast off by this serpent, who has changed his skin to blend in with his surroundings and the people around him, to further his greedy quest for power.

He has (unsuccessfully) pawed at the governor's office before, like a lusty schoolboy clawing at his prom date's dress; I personally don't trust people that desire to be career politicians, and who seek new and more powerful political offices every year. Jindal's been a ladder-climbing opportunist ever since he got into the political life. And he's been absurdly open about his "I'm trying way too hard to seem white" conservative beliefs.

When I lived in New Orleans, I heard Jindal speaking- and what did he speak about? How the basis for our society was the moral code of the Ten Commandments, and how we need copies of the Ten Commandments in all courthouses and government buildings. Beyond just being a traitor to his own ancestral culture, he is (like most christians) incapable of dealing with the fact that diversity exists in this land, and we aren't all christian. Lovely.

I would like to categorically state this: It is my belief that our new governor (a Gods-cursed convert), beyond his basic conservative priggishness, has no clue how to deal fairly with a secular and diverse constituency. Wouldn't be the first time in the history of the land that we've been subjected to a moralizing idiot, and sadly, it probably won't be the last.

It's sad to see a traitor win the governor's race who is essentially riding on the idea of the people's dissatisfaction with the failures of the previous governor. And it's even sadder to think that our new governor proudly boasts of being a personal friend of George W. Bush, the supreme oil-soaked conservative evil, and the lame duck president of all lame duck presidents. Jindal is also an avid supporter of the oil war in Iraq.

I pray that the Gods and the Fates curse Bobby Jindal's governorship and send him troubles that he cannot address, so that he can fail in some ignominious way. May he never know real peace or happiness, until he sees and renounces the savage ignorance he supports and helps to force onto others. In his own death, may his people's Gods and his own ancestors remember his treachery, and let him stumble on the way beyond.

Well he is a Republican. What can be expected of such a man? How could anyone be Hindu or Buddhist and a Republican at the same time? The Republican Party hasn't followed a true "conservative" agenda for over half a century. They claim to have this moral compass and a unique sanctity of life, yet aside from trying to prevent abortions they do nothing to prevent death, but instead promote it through war, poverty and disease.
Not that Hillary is less of hypocrite.
Vote Kucinich!
